Karl Schultz, NSW CSSP
With a degree in mechanical engineering from Northern Arizona University Karl worked briefly with W.L. Gore in the medical products field before moving on to RC Optical Systems designing systems for several high profile projects for the U.S. government in the areas of satellite tracking and laser weapons systems.
After emigrating to Australia, Karl joined Intercad in 2012. As a Business Consultant at Intercad, he is currently utilizing his practical experience in the industry to help smaller companies work faster more efficiently and more economically.
Alex Kok, VIC CSSP CSWP
Counting global household names such as Philips Electronics, Siemens Medical Devices and various divisions of the Panasonic Group as former clients, Alex has more than 12 years experience in the 3D mechanical CAD industry, gained with regionally-based SolidWorks and Pro/ENGINEER resellers. In addition to fundamental 3D mCAD, Alex is also a highly enthusiastic proponent of product design process automation, technical product illustration and product visualisation. Currently a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) and Certified SolidWorks Sales Professional (CSSP), his CAD industry experience is further complemented with an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering with product design specialisation and post-graduate degree in human factors engineering.
Joshua Hately, NZ CSSP
Following his Bachelor Degree in Aeronautical Engineering (Hons) Josh has progressed into industry specializing in CFD working as Design Engineer through to his most recent post at BMT WBM, as a CFD Analysis Engineer. BMT WBM is one of Australia’s largest and most experienced specialist environmental consultants.
Josh Healey, NZ
After completing his degree in Mechanical Engineering, Josh worked as an engineer at Robinhood designing products for the laundry and kitchen environments. He then moved on to C-Quip designing carbon fibre products for the use in Super yachts. His industry experience includes modelling packages in SolidWorks, Pro-E and Auto-Cad.
Rodolfo Ponce DeLeon, WA
Prior to joining Intercad, Rodolfo was an Industrial Designer for TriMas Corporation, P&R SheetMetal and Mountain Buggy. He has more than 11 years of industry experience covering Analytical / Design / Project and Production Management using SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Catia. Rodolfo holds an Industrial Design degree from the University of Buenos Aires.
Giles Wilson, QLD CSSP
Following a Bachelor of Industrial Design at the University of Canberra and Instituto Europeo di Design in Spain, Giles completed internships in Melbourne, Brisbane and Germany. Having gained 4 years of experience in contract administration and project management with Hutchinson Builders, he set up his own design consultancy on the Gold Coast.
For over 4 years he served his clients in patent process, product conceptualization and development, 3D modelling, fabrication drawings, branding and artwork.
He has significant experience in patent process and venture management, taking one design to a fully functional prototype, gaining patents in both Australia and USA, whilst building relationships with select companies worldwide.
